A Study of Factors Associated with the Participation of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Leisure Activities

Purpose: The present research aims to identify the factors associated with participation of children autism spectrum disorder in leisure activities.
 Research Methodology: study was descriptive nature and use quantitative methods analyze data. Parents ASD studying private public schools for students from Lahore division including its 4 districts; Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhpura Nankana Sahib were population study. A sample 88 parents participated this Researchers used self-developed validated Likert type questionnaire. After raw data collection, coded coding scheme by using statistical package social sciences (SPSS) tabulated show mean standard deviation responses.
 Findings: findings obtained suggest that willing participate activities, but their activities differed activity types. It observed personal factors, such as age, gender, job responsibilities, family pressure, health issues, well socioeconomic status family, affect Recommendations: Schools may organize parental training sessions where should be guided motivated making executing a game plan child’s strength at school level.
